SEMA HITS DPWH OVER ACCESS ROAD
Cotabato City Mayor Muslimin Sema criticized the regional office here of the Department of Public Works & Highways over the lack of an access road for the already-completed Delta Bridge.

In an official statement circulated to media, Sema chided the public works office for the delay in constructing said road. He asked “why the DPWH cannot even start, at this point in time, constructing an access road.”

CITY UNDER STATE OF CALAMITY
Two days after the devastation wrought by Typhoon Frank, the Cotabato City Disaster Coordinating Council passed a resolution on June 23 declaring the entire city under State of Calamity and urged the Sangguniang Panlungsod to appropriate calamity funds to enable the city government to respond to the needs of persons affected by the massive flooding.
