Employees of the City Government of Cotabato started receiving their monetary bonus beginning last Friday (August 15) after City Mayor Mus Sema signed Ordinance No. 3520 passed recently by the Sangguniang Panlungsod.

Each of the 731 plantilla workers got P6000 while the contractuals, numbering 465, received P3000 each.

The bonus forms part of the over-all assistance package extended by the city government to all those affected by the month-long flooding in the city.

Appropriations were taken from the monetized IRA differential for Fiscal Years 2001 and 2004.
